Cold Start ptroblem

Hi,
My Berlingo is on  a 53 plate 188000 miles and having trouble starting when cold.
Even had the RAC out who gave it a squirt of easy start..and it did start easy.
Off to garage  and a new set of glows and it started the following day at garage. 
Its turned colder and yesterday it was not happy but did start after 2 attempts.
Once started runs like a Berlingo  Lovely and lazy

Any ideas before i take it back to garage ?

What engine do you have?
If you add a new thread to the M49 or M59 section it'll probably get the attention of people in those sections.

If its a 1.9 d have the valves ever been adjusted as on this engine it causes cold start issues. Best to get them done when a cam belt is replaced.
