Hi I'm Jane and i live near the coast in Essex. I have just bought a 2006 berlingo multispace desire which I am hoping to use as my regular car and do a chuck box type arrangement that I can put in the rear and use either with the three back seats up or down with a bed extension when out on my own.I have already got things like camping gaz stoves, collapsible washing up bowl and the likes as have done a fair bit of camping (but only on christian holiday camps)as feel a bit vulnerable as a lady on her, own hence the camper van idea(at least I can lock myself and belongings in , it's a bit more secure than canvas) I also hope to escape into the nearby country for day time excursions but will be able to cook a simple meal and make quite a few cuppas if I have the equipment on-board. It's going to be a bit of a challenge as my wood working skills are 0, I'm great with a sewing machine, can make curtains ,cover cushions ,basic upholstery but when I was at school the girls did cookery and typing and the boys got to do the wood work and carpentry ,our many pleas fell on deaf ears.
