Problems in preheating

Problems in preheating
Berlingo Diesel 1900 1999
Candle heating resistor lamp, turn on and off soon.
The van was struggling to get it off, the weather was cold, and it stopped booting.
I took it to the workshop (which makes more price) replace the pump purging system, the glowing candles (said to be all burned). They switch on and the heating light turns on but after a few seconds it switches off without preheating the combustion chamber. They replaced a "black box" that says they control the glowing candles and remain the same. I have to say that the battery has a value a little lower than indicated! But it turns the engine well.

Welcome to the forum - just check what make glow plugs (candles) you fitted it can make a mossive difference to the starting and send you looking in the wrong direction.

I have seen some glow plugs lazy and old get red hot not white hot - make sure they fitted Beru or Bosch plugs.
