#1
Hi, I have 2013 belingo van, and want add extra lighting in rear ( as standard light not good enough for my job). I want to fit extra led lights, but want to run light off exciting light in back . Or do I need to fit a separate switch ?

I added an Ching-Chong LED strip light to the back, just ran a wire through the chanels and soldered to the back of the rear interior light, had to find the correct place to solder onto with a multi-meter as I wanted it to go on and off with the door and it has worked with no problems with nearly a year now!!

Labcraft do plug and play replacements for the factory lights - I have one of their strip lights in my Land Rover and it's VERY bright.

They're UK made too.

If your handy with a solding iron (or know some one who is ) just solder the LED feed on the back of the old lamp holder - you will need to get it the rightway round thou

You can get sitcy back LED 12V strips form ebay for a few ££ they work well but , I had to slilicon them in palce a week later ...

I used a set of these in our van, they have stayed stuck to the roof for over a year now and are bright enough, as said I just connected to the interior light wires.

The only problem is they don't stay lit for that long due to Citroen's battery saver.

Hi Peter I've just ( I know but why not fit soem extra lights just after midnight...) added some more of the eBay led tape lights need sunglasses now Wink I stuck them lot to a length of "loop" velcro" and stuck that to the head linining.
You can add a extra feed vis a diode ( electronic not return valve ) so any add on lights can be on via your own switch, I can take some pics and explain more if anyones interested ...
A timer or low volts disconect may be a good idea ...
