15" 165/65 to 16" 205/55

Hello All,

Just purchased a Berling multispace Forte 2004 1.6 Petrol on 15" steel rims with 165/65 tyres. Thinking of swapping the wheels for my old 16" astra alloys with 205/55 tyres. Any advise on if this is a good/bad idea greatully accepted ( its a good idea currently for me as i put brand new tyres on my astra 3 weeks before the cam belt died)

Your Astra wheels won’t fit onto a Berlingo, the stud pattern is different. Your Astra Alloys are 4 x 100mm, your Berlingo is 4 x 108mm. You could try getting a used set of 4 x 108 Alloys in need of new tyres, you can pick up a few good deals. I got a set of 17 inch Alloys for my Berlingo from a Peugeot 308 for £50, they even had two good winter tyres and 2 good normal tyres, proper bargain. Ford 4 stud Alloys will fit as well, just keep an eye on the offset.
