Hi ALL !
i have resently done my rear brakes on my berlingo van and at 1st i thought the drivers side was to tight but i have look at it more then 1s and when you reverse when you brake it shoots up on the drivers side and if you go to pull away with the hand brake on it dips on the drivers side i checked the brakes and there are no problems with them can it be a shocker gone ? any info would be helpful as im starting to tare my hair out with this problem :brickwall:

a shock absorber (Damper) wouldn't do that, a broken spring might.

Assuming it's an M59, there are no springs on the back, just torsion bars.

Does the van look low on one side at the back?

Oops I’d not looked which sub forum this was in.
But yes same principle, tired torsion bar would do the same. The back axle units were quite a common failure on the older PSA products. They often end up sagging on one side.

your drivers side brake is working ,~ your passenger side is not.
