Errigal camper and awning
#1
In addition to my home made boot box unit I have an Errigal camper unit, which I bought last summer; its now in the Berlingo I keep in the UK.

Have to say I'm delighted with the Errigal - and at about half the price of an Amdro I reckon its actually better designed.  I specified the meths stove for extra cost and on reflection I'm not of the sure of the wisdom of this, but otherwise great unit.  Made in Ireland but can get them on ebay or contact direct fr regular delivery to UK

Pic is taken in Switzerland with our awning last summer.

Thanks for the info - looks a great system. Can you tell us more about the awning please? That seems to work well...

Yeah, looks like a nice setup. Not seen that awning before either.

Its a Kamper Travel Pos tailgater - a bit fiddly to put up but it does the job well; it poured down when we were in Switzerland and yet it coped really well  There's an inflatable version too but note it is slightly smaller as well as more expensive.  There are lots of suppliers on the web.  It has lots of guys which mean it pretty sturdy when left as a standalone tent.

Interlaken and Bernese Oberland - great place to take the camper unit as there are loads of campsites and then local transport is free

Yes that's right - a travel pod tailgater.  I think its well designed and reasonably priced - the best Ive found for the Berlingo.
