Your best bet is to get an exchange axle from say IM axles.
There are threads on here about doing the swap.
Are we there yet?????

Yep just swap the complete axle. It's not a bad job providing everything comes undone. It can be done on a driveway with some axle stands and a decent jack.

There are Two torsion bars one for each trailing arm, there is also an anti roll bar that links both trailing arms.
The torsion bar for the RHS trailing arm is anchored at the LHS of the axle.
The torsion bar for the LHS trailing arm is anchored at the RHS of the axle.
From the picture it looks like your RHS torsion bar has snapped a few inches in from where it is anchored.
Look up some picture of the axle on-line and you will see how the torsion bars fit etc.

I just thought I should read to you from the Gospel of Haynes, chapters 10, verse 16;
Vehicle ride height - Checking
Checking of the vehicle ride height requires the use of specialist tools to accurately compress the suspension in a suspension checking bay.
The operation should be entrusted to a Peugeot/Citroën dealer, as it's not possible to carry out checking accurately without the use ofthe appropriate tools.
And so spoke the saint!
In other words, section 15 lists how to remove and refit the rear axle assembly, but there's no explanation as to how to remove and refit the torsion bars correctly.
And these bars needs to be pre-tensioned.
I'll much rather rebuild my beloved TU3JP4 and torque the head bolts by 'feel' than mess with those rods. Screwing up the torque on the head bolts will cost you a head gasket or a cracked head, screw up the torsion bars and you get a car that could be lethal.
