[Engine] 02 sensor - location? Code P0030
#1
Hmmm, they say pride comes before a fall. So as per other thread I fixed my engine hesitancy issue with a new coil pack and cleared all codes (which stayed clear for a couple of days). Car running okay since and no EML. However, did a quick code check today and the P0030 code has reappeared...

HO2S Heater Control Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

Is this the green connector and sensor pictured here? If so does it have a fuse I can check first?  And, as a rank amateur does the code suggest it's an error with the sensor itself rather than indicative of an issue elsewhere?

Unplug connector, start engine and check with voltmetar
on harnes side for voltage on 2 white wires. There should be 12v.
That is used for heating element inside O2 sensor.
If you have voltage than your sensor is bad.
If not than you need to check fuses, ecu and so on.....

On most cars O2 sensors white wires are for heather but I am not 100% sure
about berlingo. I have diesel so I can't check

Thanks, that's interesting.

Does anyone happen to have a fuse box diagram that shows engine fuses?

The M59 handbook is in the documents at the top of the M59 section of the forum. There are fuse diagrams in there, there's also a Haynes manual that you can find from a search in the forum.

Thanks, have tried the handbook link couple of times but send to be a dead link. Got the fuse diagram but sadly only for the internal fusebox. Going to purchase a helpful Haynes manual, I'll post results once known so others can locate in future.

You need to go to the last page of that thread, there are a couple of links at the end which will work, also you can download the Haynes manual from the forum.
