Problems with 2018 Berlingo Automatic

Hi, I have a few questions with new issues relating to our Berlingo automatic which is under a year old.

Firstly, there is a new noise coming from within the engine compartment which usually kicks in after a few kilometres, especially when going up inclines and applying the foot on the gas. It's like a burrrrrrr sound you might get from a hole in the exhaust system or a turbo kind of thing? 

Secondly, the eco auto stop and start system button sometimes pops on and off and there is a juddering of the car when coming to a halt and starting again. Also yesterday from a cold start. Almost like the car is being intermittingly starved of fuel.

Hi its a very difficult one to diagnose from a computer but:

1) have a look to see if anything looks amiss in the engine bay, has a inlet pipe come adrift, some of the early berlingo 1.6hdi's were common for a rattling airbox that started at very little milles.

2) get a diagnostic done.

3) the lumpy running at idle is pretty normal, ive never found one to be different, they run like sh1t from cold and nothing like the old fashioned diesel that was smooth from cold.

4) how many miles on the vehicle - its still under warranty so all the above checks should be done by your dealer at no cost to you.

Hi & welcome.Take it to the dealer,that's what the warranty is for. Good luck & let us know how you get on.
I hope you have a good dealer,some here are pretty useless.
