Dab upgrade... how I did it
#1
So I was a little sceptical, but I figured I’d try something that I’d never done...

I bought one of these... eBay item number 271011041309, it’s advertised for Sony and JVC but pioneers aren’t worried, they don’t care about a bit of infidelity! ?

I plugged it in, searched for stations and it came up with a list! It uses the original aerial a treat, I will see what signal handling is like next week on my way up the M18 where I know it drops out! I have fitted it in my white partner for now to asses how good the splitter is Smile

I will add reviews as I go so you guys know a sub 20 quid option for dab, that is superior to the stick on  trash you can buy!

I will add the splitter only works with a non amplified aerial so it won’t for example work with a rear screen aerial or a rear roof mounted amplified bee-sting on say a golf or similar, it only works on basic stuff that’s not powered like our roof mounted efforts ?

Any updates on this, as I'm just about to try something similar?
Does the blue wire fit on the back of the standard Berlingo radio cd thingy?

I see DumDum has not been on the forum since April this year so you may not get a reply any time soon, but you never know.

The unit he referred to is this one for anyone else who is interested:
