2001 reg key problem

Hi all,


New to the forum and I need help as my van is unusable.

The remote key no longer operates the alarm / central locking.

I can drive and start it but the alarms goes off.

I either need a key repair , new key or just disable the alarm and open the van with the key.

Could some kind point me in the right direct, but not towards the main dealer.

Might be a silly question, but have your replaced the battery in the fob?

If this, as I suspect, is an after-market alarm you may have to contact the manufacturer for more help. Which model van is it and can you post a picture of the fob, please.
