My niece has a 54 plate Partner that she has not been using (bought a Renault Migraine) and the battery inevitably died. I took it home and put it on my charger and got it back up to 12.8 volts , put it back on the car and it fired up almost immediately but all the interior lights are flashing and the STOP light is on the dash so it looks like a BSI reset might be needed. I've had the battery off mine a couple of times and this one as well and never needed to do a reset before, is it a random thing ?
So where does this bit go then ?

Just a guess, but maybe it's because the battery drained while it was connected and the voltage to the BSI went low?

Did a BSI reset and everything is working but the stop light on the dash is still flashing so she will need to get it read at a garage.

It could be this as it's parked on a steep slope as well. If I got Lexia I would also have to get a laptop to run it on and wouldn't have a clue what I was doing with it
