[Transmission] cluch issues
#1
seen quite a lot on here about various issues with the clutch and its internal problems However I cant quite understand why
the clutch on My 2005 2.0 litre diesel Multispace has to be rammed to the floor before one can change gears have tried putting some
spacers into the cable linkage seems to work for a while but the reverts to the issues above so I can only assume that the automatic adjuster just adjusts wrongly. the clutch was changed in the last 2 years and the cable in the last six months after it broke car was owned by my niece and was transferred to me when she upgraded. pedal operation is not unduly heavy for a cable operated clutch. I can live with it but my wife would never be able to handle it as it is. comments please. Shy
