Help me identify this loose cable please!
#1
Hi there,

I have a 2003 2ltr hdi multispace. It's making a grinding/whirring noise that I can't pin down. I've had a look under the bonnet and noticed that the cable in the pictures below is not attached to anything. Does anyone know where it should go?

Thanks!

I have no answer to what that cable is or where it should be attached to. Nevertheless, I have the same cable/plug at the same location, i.e. above the brake fluid tank, also "disconnected". I was also wondering why it is not plugged to anything.

There are thousands of berlingos running about with the loose cable you mentioned . It all depends on what model you have and what that model has fitted to it .

We have one on the Berlingo just like it too - always figured it was either for some sort of testing/service device or just a part of the loom that our model didn't use (something like heated screen washers or the like)?  Saves them having to stock different looms for the different models?

Hm, good point, but would it do anything interesting though?
