door check strap

Hi there i have just bought a 97 for not a lot of money and one of the small things wrong with it is there is no driver side door check strap. Although i have no problems firtting one, can i just ask if anyone knows do the 2 Torx bolts that hold it onto the body of car (not door side) screw into captive nuts ??? as there are no captive nuts in the body, or are they srewed into some kind of mounting plate ?? also does the door strap for a 1997 also go on any other model ?? saxo or 106 ??

Why not try removing the passenger side one, then you will know how the other side is fitted and pattern-in-hand go to the scrap yard to compare with similar (possibly handed??) items on other Cit/Pug's ???
