2.0 hdi abs no communication from abs ecu
#1
Hi, friend has dropped a 2.0 hdi berlingo off to me, I am unable to get any comms to the abs ECU, before I go sourcing a replacement ECU, does anyone know where the fuses/ relay are. I've googled and struggling to find anything

Car is a 2004 2.0hdi berlingo multi space
It has a Bosch and pump, I've no comms to it on worth diagnostics or Delphi using Bosch 5.3 or 8. I've see talks of a relay but I cant seem to find one of those atm

All help appreciated

Do you have access to Lexia / Diagbox?
On the older cars, the various ECU's are on different pins on the OBD connector. Might be worth a try before getting into ECU & BSI swaps.

I've attached the airbag & seatbelt wiring for my 2008 M59 1.6Hdi. The wiring & component locations are probably the same or similar to the 2.0 so may be of use in locating the various components. If it turns out to be nothing like yours, PM me the VIN & RPO & I'll see if I can find a more specific version.

Here's the ABS info for an M59. This is from my '2.0' folder so is probably correct for your 2004 2.0.
Don't know why I thought it was airbag info you needed!
