Hi all
I’m hoping someone here can help me out. I have a Citroen Berlingo enterprise 16 plate and have foolishly thrown my house keys on to the centre dash above the touch screen and the keys have fallen down what I believe is the grill for heating/clearing the windscreen I understand it may take some work to get them back ie removing the dash but where do I start ?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Have you tried a magnet on a bit of flexible wire or even a telescopic magnet to fish them out.
Are we there yet?????

If you can catch it with a magnet on a bit of tough string it would be the best way but if it is a large bunch of keys it will be hard. The jagged edges on the keys get caught on the flaps and edges inside the unit. If your lucky they will drop right to the bottom of the unit where it basically sits on the carpet. There is a small space between the carpet and the bottom of the plastic unit behind the centre console under the gear stick. If it is a small bunch of keys you should hopefully be able to use a ruler or thin piece of wire to pull it to the edge and tease it out. I lost our new house keys (all the keys that came from previous owner) down my vent. I stripped off all the plastic from around the area underneath the gear stick this takes a bit of time and you will need torx drivers for this. I tried to pull the keys out from the bottom after trying the string and magnet but they got jammed and would not pull through. I put it together again and went back to the magnet and string and after about 90 min of f**king about i eventually got them out but its a pig of a job with lots of swearing involved.
Hope this helps

I’ve tried with the magnet and string and had no luck unfortunately but there’s only 3 keys together so I’m hoping your right and I may be able to get them out this way I’ll give it a go
Thanks for taking the time to message me.
