Neolux Bulbs
#1
Just wondered if anyone has used Neolux headlight bulbs?

Earlier this year, I replaced the driver's side headlight bulb as the dip had blown. I bought a Neolux bulb from CP4L for a very good price and have been happy so far with the light output.
Earlier this week, I noticed my passenger side dip had gone so I bought a new Neolux bulb for it. On getting the old one out, I've discovered it's a Neolux bulb! Clearly not OE.
I've no real choice but to fit the Neolux bulb so will go ahead and see how long they last.

Yeah I use them, they are just cheap and cheerful bog standard bulbs from Euro Car Parts. I wouldn't say they are bad as such.

From what I've read, H4 bulbs don't last a great deal of time so I'm quite happy to see how it goes with the 2 I've got. I did a lot of miles in the winter with lights on all the time, no complaints so far.

I swapped my original equipment headlight bulbs for Osram Nightbreaker bulbs, quite a bit brighter and a very good dip cut-off

Nightbreaker bulbs have good reports, maybe I'll try them next time I get a failure. How long do they last?

They've been in my car for 2 1/2 years (about 20k miles) without problem
