[Transmission] 1.6HDi Gearbox Oil Capacity?

I'm changing my gearbox oil and can't decide how much to put in there. My driveway is on a slope so it's very tricky to get the car level in both directions in order to use the filler plug level.
I've read in Haynes and on here in a couple of places that it's 2.0 Litres, but the Citroen Engine Service Data that I've been reading says 1.8L Will there be an issue if I put 2.0L in?

2 litres is what I've put in mine.

I know this don't help you with a 1.6hdi as ive got a 1.4 petrol but with my spec gearbox it was 2 litres and that was how much drained out. So Haynes was spot on for once. Make sure you use the correct spec oil it makes all the difference.

I always thought its 1.9L. I was thinking of doing the same. What oil are you going to use? I have bought 2L of Total Gear 75W80.

I used Total 'Transmission Gear 8' 75W80 from GSF which is the replacement for 'Transmission BV' according to the label. I put just under 2L in via the level plug and if I find some way of getting the car level with the passenger wheel off I'll take the level plug out again. I doubt that 200cc of extra oil will make that much difference somehow.
I'm not sure if the smaller petrol engines have a different gearbox but the official (2005) recommended capacity for them is 2.0L as opposed to 1.8L for the others.

I'm not sure of the official interval, but every 100k or 10 years does not seem too excessive. If the clutch is changed, some oil will be lost so that's a good time to change it all too.

I change mine @10,000m to get rid of any swarf,& then evey 20,000m.It doesn't cost a lot & gets rid of any condensation.
