Tinting
#1
Hi,
I'm thinking about tinting the rear windows but not sure what % to go for.

Any chance you could show me pictures of your rides with what % you went with. Thanks

"There are no rules for tinting the rear windscreen or rear passenger windows."
https://www.gov.uk/tinted-vehicle-window-rules

So it's as dark as you'd like, I'm not sure what others generally use tho.

Thanks all

I'm thinking either 20 or 30% but it would be great to see what other people have done

I have factory privacy on my C4 Picasso Grand - i'd say that was about 5%.

I have it from the B pillars back and on the roof window - viability out is no problem

Limo - it makes it more private for when you have goods in the back, also its a great sun blind if you have kids.[Image: e6581f4cabc0229a47db20d12f40fd5b.jpg]

Bare in mind that the standard glass already has a slight tint so anything you put on will appear darker.

Put a piece of white paper behind the standard glass and you will get an idea of how dark the standard tint is.

Hi all, I've fit my Bingo with 20% tint and you can't see in but you can see out, which is exactly what I was after for my camper. I got a pre cut kit off the bay, sides were easy to do after taking the windows out, the rear less so.  Undecided.
