Logged on this morning, last time I was here was feb 2013.
Cant believe it’s been that long. In the process of purchasing an 06 Desire. It’s the 1.6 HDi
Has a few miles 130000 doesn’t bother me as I’ve driven it and it seems to pull well.
Only problem I noticed was the air bag light stays on. And the Clutch pedal has dropped, is their a fix for that ?
Thanks
Ian

Welcome back!
There's a thread on the clutch pedal with instructions in here, it's a common enough problem from the looks of things. The air bag light is probably a connector under one of the front seats, another search should pull up a few suggestions.

Well the VW is already set up as a Campervan. I’ve got the logbook changed to Motor Caravan. If I could keep both I would ?
Unfortunately one will have to go to pay for the Other. The VW is a T4 2.4 Diesel non Turbo. It still pulls well enough. Only problem I have is that both Rear wheel arches are shot. Plus the O/S Sill. Crazy thing is I have the new parts to fit. But can’t find a Welder to do the Job.Im going to put it up as a Project Van I think on EBay.

Sorry, I'm a bit inexperienced with campers... What benefit does having it registered as a Motor Caravan give?
Thanks
