Radio code

UI have put the wrong code in the radio in my van , does anyone know if after three attempts the procedure for allowing you to clear the fault, it is the original radio that came standard with the van in 1999, thanks in advance.

From my vague memory of citroens back then after 3 attempts you got locked out for 30 minutes before you could try again. I think you had to leave the ignition on until the 30 minutes are up. Perhaps the folks on French car forum have a better memory than me or perhaps another member on here can remember how it goes.

You are right tomcat3, radio now restored and working thanks to you, I could not remember the original code and foolishly guessed the three chances you get but after a period of time you get another shot at it . Thanks again
