newbie checking in!

Hello all, 

I recently bought a 2006 Berlingo Enterprise van 1.9D. Its going to be used for kayaking, biking, tip runs and keeping the mileage down on my cherished car!

Its only done 78,000 and is in great nick for a work steed.  I thought I wouldn't do too much to it but cant seem to help myself with vehicles, and have already treated it to;
 
2 new Avon ZT7 tyres (extra load)
fuel system cleaner (Archoil)
new fuel filter
new front discs and pads
new fuel filter
Adjust high idle speed.

Oh and a clay pad treatment and then Auto Topaz wax, plus a clean and lubricate underneath and in the engine bay.

Like I said, just cant help myself! 

Whats weird is the tax-  before I bought it, various sites said £140 (Euro 4 compliant) but the lovely DVLA sharks, sent a bill for £260. 
I called them earlier and said I think the tax class is wrong and they've said I must contact Citroen UK and get them to confirm in writing it meets Euro 4 ( this was mandatory from January 2005). I don't see how Citroen could have sold a vehicle made in 2006 ( registered October 2006) if it didn't meet the Euro 4?!!

Anyhow, perhaps others have experience of this??

Hello from a newbie whose not sure they’ve posted in the right thread to get seen so please advise where best to place Ive not been on forums before so not sure of the filing system in threads so sorry... ive written it a the bottom of the old thread but its old so placing here to please can somone direct it where i should have placed it please THANK YOU SO MUCH

Gilesf in 2015 mentioned a Citroen specialist in Heeley who knew how to replace just the torsion bar rather than the whole axle. As ive had a torsion bar snap I’m curious Any help would be fantastic does anyone know which garage it is or if Gilesf is till on the forum please cheers
