wheel offset [focus wheels]

I have a chance of some 02 ford focus alloys 

the sizes are 


berli                                                     focus
offset 18                                             offset 47


pdc is the same
 and the focus wheel bore is 3mm bigger 


is the greater offset an issue..?

they look like Ghia alloys ,
may have to take a wheel with me to measure..

The wheel centre may be a problem, we found Ford wheel centres are smaller than Citroen and Peugeot.

on these the centre bore is bigger..
 the offset is way out ,

I think it because they are deeper Ghia wheels..

pity as they are £40 for 4 with good tyres..
