I was looking at the minor surface rust on my Berlingo yesterday when I remembered that I had some Vactan rust converter in my garage. It's the same stuff they use on navy ships/cruise ships etc. It's really decent stuff made in the UK and is quite cheap. Just a heads up for anyone who wants something cheap and easy to use!

I've used Hammerite No 1 rust primer to great effect. You don't even have to top coat if you don't want to.

Any tips or experiences of rust converting spray paints / treatments? I have some areas that will be difficult to reach with a brush that I need to treat & protect. Looks like the Vatcan mentioned above can be sprayed so maybe that's what I need?
Thanks
