Mot and Rear Shock Absorber Damper rubber?

Hey guys, it's coming to that time of year again...

My dust cover on my rear shock damper is pretty much on it's last legs...

Might be a stupid question, though will it pass it's MOT cracked? Or is that just for rubber gaiters containing grease?

I think that so far as it's not leaking fluid, it'll be ok. Call the MoT place and see what they say?
