Rear parking sensor

Have just called Charles Hurst Citroen in Belfast

" Do you have a rear parking sensor for a 2014 Berlingo van?
Yes we do it will be £94.40 plus vat.
I just need the one sensor not all 4
Yes that is just for one.
Ok I will have a think about it "

Any ideas where I can get one with out been spanked ?
It was a factory Citroen supplied one on my Enterprise.

Aren't they just ultrasonic transducers?

Like the kind used in all kinds of Arduino robotics and Sensor kits?

It might be an idea to take a closer look at the sensor...

That is indeed the price.
I know a worse one.
Berlingo /Partner drivers door lock, not one to match your van, just a random one with a key £138 + vat  Sad
I can remember buying the entire lock set for the whole van for less !

Not reversing but clutch - rang up our local Pug dealer for a quote on a clutch on the ancient 206, guy said he'd ring back with the price. When he did his first words were 'Are you sitting down?' :-)

Not sure if this is the correct part # 6590.A5 ??

If so https://www.amazon.co.uk/Parking-9663821...B07HRW8F3W but cheaper on FleaBay
