Could anyone help me with choosing the right size wheel spacers for berlingo 2.0 hdi. I want to use steel wheels from peugeot 3008 ( 7.5 J17 4-29 ). I read some old threads and someone here once used 10mm on the front and 20mm on the back with a tyre 195/40 and there was no rubbing according to him. Is it ok to use different size for front and back? The other guy I found used 20mm both on the front and back. He had 195/45 tyres. Also what type spacers to use when using 20mm spacer - a bolt through or bolt on spacer? I am a bit afraid of those things as I have never used them before but it seem that they are not so bad if installed correctly. I have a multispace and usually do not carry heavy loads but I use the van often to tow a trailer.
Ideally I would use peugeot 406 coupe 16 inch steel wheels but unfortunately those are no longer available from the factory.
