Was it on before you started the car first thing in the morning,or did it just come on later?
I ask because,my old Renault Scenic glowplug light would come on during the middle of summer during a long drive.
I had to replace the glowplug several times as the light was coming on to show it was faulty.

It was 0 degrees. And only came on in the morning.

Mine hasn't been coming on, and it's been icy, the van has been struggling to start the last few weeks, so today, I put a bit of wire from the battery to the first glowplug for 20 seconds, and it fired up straight away.
If this likely to be the glow plug relay, or something else?

I've not seen mine yet, but it's starting ok so not worried at the moment.
