I had a strange issue yesterday. The drivers window on my 2010 Multispace went down if you held your finger on the button and would only close in increments. Press the button, window rises about 25mm and stops, release button, press again and up 25mm. I checked the passenger window and that was the same.
I tried again about an hour later and both windows working correctly. Has anybody had this issue and if they did , what was the reason please?

did you disconnect the battery before that by any chance? This is normally what automatic electric windows do to re-set the amount of "travel until closed" distance/time.

Thanks for your response, no, battery not disconnected. I did wonder if something was loose on a sensor or something?

There is something on here about the windows needing to be reset in certain circumstances by moving up a little at a time so I think that Luis was on the right track. It may also be mentioned somewhere in the handbook IIRC.
