I have a 2011 Berlingo Van I’ve owned for a year and never had a problem. Over the last week or so when I start the van up a warning light comes on the dash indicates door open, and the display says front drivers door open. I open and close the door and all the warning lights go out, this went on for a few days until a couple of days ago when the warning light on the dash stays on all the time and when I slow down to stop the van locks, unlocks itself and the fob won’t lock the doors.
My mate (a mechanic)has put the van on a diagnostic machine with no faults showing he’s fitted a new drivers door lock and checked wires and found one broken wire which he,s repaired. But the Van is still doing the same dashboard faults etc.
Any help greatly appreciated
