How much should i ask for my Berlingo van?
#1
Hi all,

I have just joined the forum,

now my question is could i have your thoughts on what is a fair price to ask for my 2005 Berlingo 1.9 D Enterpriise van that has done only  56,000 genuine miles? its in good all round clean condition and runs and drives great has had many new parts inc timing belt/alternator/water pump/clutch/exhaust/heater plugs/steering pump/ all within the last 5000 miles  with MOT till Feb 2020, thats the good part the not so good part is that the airbag light is on and it needs a new drivers side mirror, selling due to loss of licence for health reasons, hope i have posted this in the right place.

Thanks in advance Sean.b

Hey,

Welcome to the Berlingoforum :-)

I don't know where you from,  but I'm from Denmark and I use https://www.biltorvet.dk/bil/citroen to check the average market price. If you're from germany you can check mobile.de.

Sorry to hear this, someone is going to get a bargain by the sound of it. I would advertise it on ebay with a reserve of say £1500 - word the advertisement well saying how its been cared for and the van is not your usual 2005 year rubbish, say why you are selling it and whats been done to it.

Lastly ebay will tell you your price is too high - take no notice its bs. Recently i sold a van in excellent condition with much done to it ebay said i was asking too much at 3k and similar vehicles went for £1200!! I sold the van for the asking price within 1 hour - reason good vans are difficult to get, they gouy said he has seen some right sh1t and my van was like new in comparison - he snatched my hand off.

If your van is a minter you may get £1800 for it.
