Hi,
I understand that a lots of people look to lower their vans, but I would like to raise the standard ride height by approx 80mm to cope with many of the rough farm and country tracks that I have to negotiate from time to time, can anyone help me with what I would need to do?
No doubt longer front springs and dampers/shock absorbers, but how would I deal with the rear of the van?
My van is a 2006 2.0ltr Hdi and any help or advice would be much appreciated, thank you in advance.
James.

80mm is a lot. The Peugeot version was available with a higher ride height and headlamp protectors but it was more cosmetic than off road. The rear of the van you would need to raise the height by adjusting the torsion bars, not an easy proposition. You can buy a reconditioned axle with the height preset from some suppliers if you get in touch with them before you order.
So where does this bit go then ?

Just in case you're not aware, search for "Dangel Berlingo" on Google and Youtube for some inspiration... e.g.

You can't get Dangel to convert your car(they only do factory new cars that's en route to dealers, I believe), but you might just find one at a breakers, and buy the parts of it.

Just come across this. I have a 56 plate M59 style Partner Escapade with the light protectors, does this automatically mean that it has a greater ride height than standard?

How about getting a spare set of wheels and put some serious, Land Rover type, tyres on them?

I'm almost certain that it was the Escapade that had the increased clearance as I was considering one in 2005 when I bought my Berlingo. Think it worked out about £1000 more at the time.

Yes it has an increased ride height + the proper thick metal sump guard and protected fuel/brake lines. I have one of those and if memory serves correct, ~6-7mm, not much but still higher.

That's great news, I regularly have to drive a typical two-ruts-and-a -hillock farm track.

I’m also interested in taking this option. Question is… how do you physically raise the Berlingo to Partner Escapade height? New springs?
