Hi all, help needed please from more knowledgeable folk!
I recently purchased a 2016 Berlingo 1.6 hdi with front end damage. Unfortunately the plug that connects to the abs pump was damaged so that the pins were pulled out of the circuit board. Abs and stability control/traction control? light is lit and the touch screen reports a brake fault.
I managed to find a replacement abs pump from a Citroen Picasso but it has different numbers on the abs ecu.265 951 525 & 99001 s0174.
The van eventually went into 'economy mode' and refused to even try to start with the damaged ecu fitted. It now starts fine with the Picasso Ecu plugged in but is still showing an abs fault...
On the original Berlingo ECU the part numers are 2265106515 0265956416
Would it be possible to code this ecu to the Berlingo van - I bought this hoping it will do the job ..
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FULL-Chip-Lex...2749.l2649
I have an ancient windows xp laptop that I'm hoping will run this. Heard stories about the installation being a nightmare and my computer skills aren't great!
Am I just wasting my time and do I need to find a matching numbers ecu ?
Thanks in anticipation of any replies, all help appreciated
