Speedo binnacle fault
#1
2012 Berlingo Enterprise Van.
I have an issue where the Speedo, Rev counter, Fuel gauge, Temp gauge all stop working for about 3 to 6 seconds then start working fine again. The binnacle lights also stop working at the same time. It seems to happen about 5 times in the morning during the first 5 miles. Cant see it being a damp issue as i park in an insulated garage that is warm. I have checked to see if the windows open and close whilst its happening and they all work fine as does everything else. It does not do it for the rest of the day.
I have disconnected the battery overnight to see if it resets anything but it made no difference when reconnecting it.
Is this circuit protected by a relay and if so where is it??????
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
(Not sure if ive posted in the right place im a newbie, sorry)

Welcome to the forum.

Not sure about the B9, but the M59 speedo has only 1 connector on the back. It controls all functions including backlights. If there's a similar connector on the B9, maybe worth re-seating that?

Update, just had a quick look on ebay. Looks like 2 connectors on the B9, not sure what they both do but a re-seat probably won't hurt. Might be worth disconnecting the battery first, but wait for the car to go into sleep mode (leave for 10 mins with bonnet open so you don't have to open a door to get to the bonnet catch) .
