Interior lights

Hello,

I think I have a problem with my 200 Berlingo van ... the two interior lights both have 3 options:
1) 0=always "off"
2) Alwayw "on"
3) Symbol fo door: "on" when door opens etc.

Option 3 does not work in my car for both ligths ... i can only put them on and off manually ... is this normal? Maybe a burned fuse? Anyone?

Its the door switches that often stop the interior lights coming on when door opens.

The early Berlingo's had them not sure about your model ? of Berlingo. . the later models had the switches built into the door lock I think.
Its a easy job to change the older ones , they were mounted between the door hinges and worked by earthing the interior lights. They are cheap enough to buy and easy to fit. 1 screw holds them in,

Hmmm, not sure if i understand ... mine is a 2005 van (Berlingo 1 facelift). I'll check the hinges ...

Played around with the switches ... got it working again.
