Van fan for ever

Hi everyone
Second attempt at registering as my 'madmicky' login wouldnt get verifed...  

Onto my second van now. First was a 2002 1.9D Berlingo van that had been converted for living it (sort of - it was basic at best)
Bought it on 105,000 from my pal. It died on 127.000 over a year later. 
Ended up becoming an overnight mechanic! 

Wipers stopped working. - replaced wiper linkage arms, then motor.
Wouldn't start - new glow plugs fitted.
Headlight broken - replaced
Attempted to change a broken radiator BUT... suspension at rear collapsed on one side, brakes weren't great, radiator etc etc... Scrap man came - £99

Next - Peugeot Partner 1.6 HDi 2008 van.  Almost identical but with new bits and toys. Now 14 months in.
Bought from a car showrom for £500!!  83K . Rear door wouldnt open. (only from inside) Window jammed shut. Wing, drivers side bent and catching on the door. And a bit grubby
Replaced door mechanism with my berlingo one and rear door spring/lock mechanism  (after snapping the berlingo one, I figured out how to remake and repair the partner)
New wing - £35 off ebay. Realised only reason headlight was attached was cos bent wing was holding it in place!! Scrapyard - £20

And.... a perfect little running van for cheap. All converted, insulated and carpet lined. Boxed over the wheel arch and made rear shutters for windows etc.

We LOVE these vans but isnt it funny we all log on cos of all the faults and fixes they need!!! haha :
