[Brakes] Remove and replace rear parking sensors

A few weeks ago my Berlin to got hit from behind in a car park, must have been a good shot as it split the back bumper plastic.
1 parking sensor broken. I have ordered the sensor but I need to take out the sensor holder.
2nd hand bumper on its way soon but need to switch over the sensor holders but I can't see how they come out. Don't want to damage them.
Anyone done this before?.
It's the sensor holder not the sensor.

I suspect they are moulded into the bumper and made at the same time so not removable as they are factory fitted... look on service box and see if you can buy them separate, or even ring a dealer parts counter

The part # for the holders is 7414 ZK

They push into holes in the bumper.








Some for sale on ebay with a close up image, looks like you will squeeze the tabs in and push them out from the back (Inside) of the bumper.... easier said than done I bet.

That's the ones, bloody expensive for 4 bits of plastic.
I figured they should come out as you describe but of course I didn't take the time to clean them up and look properly.

Yeah, expensive aren't they.

Warming the holders up a bit with a hair dryer or by pouring hot water on them may make the plastic a bit more flexible and help with removal.
