05 blingo front seat adjustment for camper conversion.. help!
#1
Hi all, I've trawled through loads of posts on the camper section to see how to get my front seats to wind past vertical to allow my camper unit bed to fold out fully but I can't find anything. Can you guys help please? I just know there is something on the winder mechanism that needs cutting off but not sure what I'm supposed to cut really? Hoping my dremel tool thingy will do the job? Any photos of the whole process would be much appreciated ?

If you pull the seat cover to one side near to where the adjuster knob is or on the outside of the seat in the same area, you'll see how the 2 parts of the hinge join. You can make the seat tip forwards further by removing some of the metal on the part that does not move. There are pictures on here somewhere, but it's fairly straightforward to see what needs to be done.
I did mine with a dremel, but I took the seats out of the car first for better access & to make sure that none of the grinding sparks caught. I read that someone had done the job with a hacksaw, but I couldn't see how to do that.

Ah, just found a link....

Thanks so much cancunia I appreciate that and will have a look at moving the winder as I have the multispace and it is awkward on the inside. ?

I don't think it's possible to move the winder to the outside. If you find out how, please let everyone know.
