How much for 2.0HDi Cat N with rear axle gone
#1
2003 2.0 HDi Multispace, with AC, safety pack (ABS), Modutop 180k miles metallic blue. Cat N (Non structural) due to bump up rear which creased bumper, only.
Tow bar. Twin electrics.

Had from new.

Main problem, rear axle torsion bar snapped. Was going to get recon axle and do it myself, but decided not to.
Also one sliding door pin broken, floppy handle. I have new pin.

Quick check here to see if anyone wants her. Shame to have her scrapped.

MOT till end Jan 2020, but not driveable due to axle.

Clutch changed within last couple of years.
Front brakes very new (disks and pads).
AC regased not too long ago and still works.
Front tyres new.

Had timing belt, water pump, etc changed at approx  160k miles.

£300 ono.

No interest then. Unfortunate, hoped a forum member could make use of her. Will have to try Fleabay etc.

Been offered £137 by local breakers. Any forum members interested in the old girl? Happy to let it go for same price to a member. If anyone is interested, I can take photos, give info on good and bad. If not then its eBay, then maybe local breakers.
Started her today. Started first time.
Happy New Year BTW.

Id jump at it if I wasnt so damn far away and it was immobile. In a heartbeat I'd pull the rear beam off my Picasso and lob it on as the Bingo was a much more versatile bus than the Picasso*. And the DW10 is a brillaint engine.
*Realised that despite being the same platform the rear beams are not interchangable - annoying as Ive swapped out a beam from a Xsara to a 306 estate and assumed they were all much of a muchness if they had ABS.

Very best of luck if you put it on Gumtree / Facebook - there are some utter balloons out there and you will be guaranteed to get some stupid pish taking messages...

Those were some of the more sensible ones....

Good Luck.
