Android Auto/CarPlay non-nav head unit firmware update

My dealer told me there's a newer firmware available for the 2019 head unit and the update supposedly take 4 hours. 

I have done my share of firmware updates and there's never been one taking that long. Also, it should be user-doable.

Do any of you have any information on this?

takes about an hour and a half - you can download the firmware yourself.

Download the MYCitroen app to your phone and add your vehicle to it. Once registered you can email links to yourself for map updates and firmware updates for three years.

Anyone have the 093 RCC touchscreen firmware installer available?

Depending on what needs updating you may update touch screen firmware and maps. Its the maps that can be the largest part of the update. Choose carefully when you choose map regions, don't download it if you aren't going to be driving there anytime soon.
While updating the circular progress indicator goes round and round but percentage sticks at times. You really do have to bear with it. I thought it had stopped and was going to crash out when it completed, just like that!

RCC, non-nav, screen firmware only. I did a poopoo updating to the latest version ruining wireless Android auto for myself. 93D worked great.
