[Brakes] Brakes won't bleed! Help!
#1
Hi guys,

so just changed the nearside rear brake cylinder and front offside brake hose. Started bleeding the rear nearside and nothing no fluid comes out into my brake bleeder tube. (I have the clear tube with the valve on the end) No matter how many times I try to bleed it I get nothing. So I tried without the tube and some fluid trickles out but without any real pressure behind it. So then I did exactly the same on the offside front with exactly the same results. Then I tried the other two corners and they bleed fine with good pressure.

So in conclusion I'm expecting I damage the master cylinder and presume that one outlet sends fluid to front offside and rear nearside and the other to front nearside and rear offside is this correct?

Missed my mot retest today and will have to book a full new test in the new year gutted!

Any help and knowledge is greatly appreciated.

I'm no expert with the Berlingo brake plumbing, so just a suggestion or 2..
There are some posts on here about the load balancing valve spring causing problems, here's an example of the spring

I have found with some of the pre 2008 vehicles the front of the vehicle needs to be lifted as the baffle in the fluid reservoir is a little too high and the fluid wont go over.

Also you may want to open up the load sensing valve.

I've got the same problem with my dads but it has ABS so there is not load sensing valve.
