Rear seat modification required, Multispace
#1
I have a 13 Reg Mutlispace XTR and have a three section fold over single bed and normally have wooden storage boxes underneath to give it stability. I take the three rear seats out on longer hiking trips but it is bit of a clat for a one nighter
Is there an easy way make my fold over bed be more secure to go over two of the rear seats. At the moment the seat backs are too spongy for the bed; they don't fold down flat even with the head rests off. I suppose I could make wooden frame to go over the seats.
I wondered if any one has done this modification.

I have a 2004 Multispace and use a couple of ratchet straps routed around the headrests and around the lower mounting brackets to pull the seat backs down. This gives a firmer and flatter base for the fold out section on my boot jump (double) bed.
