Water under the carpet beneath the passenger seat

Hi,

I have a 2015 Berlingo van and have discovered water under the carpet beneath the passenger seat i.e. under the jack storage area. The carpet is dry. Anyone else seen this or have any ideas where the water might be getting in?

The drains under the wiper scuttle panel on most vehicles like to block up, when they do water can find it's way into the car via the heater blower motor intake so that would be a good place to start.

Thanks for the tip. I've run a bicycle brake cable through the drain so hopefully any blockage here is cleared.

There's often quite a build up of leaves, muck & sludge in the drains, not sure a brake cable will be enough.
Removing the wiper arms and the plastic panel under them gives full access then you can clean / flush the drains fully.
