Ply lining on the roof

Hi all, am currently converting my Berlingo van to be used as MTB transport with the occasional night sleeping in it. I have ply lined, insulated and carpeted the floor and sides, but was wondering if anyone has managed to line the roof? Most photos and ply kits i have seen on google don't have a roof sheet. Is there a reason for this? I want to insulate the roof and add some string lighting so need to put some ply over the top. I think it should be possible, but just the lack of availability and examples of people doing it has made me wonder if it can't be done for some reason?

Nobody does kits for the roof because it doesn't often get bumped from the inside. Carpet stuck on with spray adhesive is the usual roof lining material.

Ahh right, I guess I will be a pioneer then! I need to put wool insulation and some string lighting up, so need to install a ply panel over the top of it.
