Strange radio installation problem
#1
I have a 2009 Multispace diesel 1.6.  The original radio was replaced some years ago with a Sony Stereo which suddenly stopped working.  I used a multimeter to confirm that 12.5 volts was being delivered to the final connector and checked the fuse in the radio was ok.  No life at all so I bought a low cost Bosskzi radio.  This does'nt powere up either so I am guessing the radios are ok and I am missing something in the vehicle.  I attached my multimeter to the yellow and black wire terminals and get 12.5 v so I assume that earthing is taking place via the black wire.   I also have the aerial plugged in.

I am hoping someone can suggest an aspect I have overlooked.

Thanks for the help - no power at the red wire so I hope that its just a fuse replacement.  Unfortunately the fuse box in the glove compartment hides the fuses behind several wire bundles and I am very wary of pulling them about to reach the fuse!

I think it's F4 bottom left hand side of the box as you look at it.

I tried to check the F4 fuse but even after removing the glove box I could not get at the bottom left hand side fuses. It is really unbelievable that Citroen could feel happy with such a bad design. Even pushing the various wire looms aside there are fuses that are unreachable. I checked all the fuses I could reach and they were ok so I have arranged to have an auto electrician look at it.
