berlingo power steering fault

Hi there , I’m new to the group so bear with me . So , I have a 2015 berlingo enterprise van , 60000on the clock. Had to be towed home yesterday as I lost my power steering ???. Took it to my garage tonight and got it plugged in to the diagnostic and it’s come up as c1201 electro pump assembly motor current fault;internal short circuit.  Does anyone know anything about this and does anyone know if the motor is coded..and Amy idea of cost? I heard something about it having an ecu on it. Cheers, mark

Yes we have have changed one . We sourced a used matching number one from eBay, as I remember a new unit is over £1000 !
Coding not required if you buy a matching unit.
