[Engine] Emissions
#1
Hi, I have a 2012 Berlingo 1.6HDi, I am having a problem with the emissions, when booted it puts out black smoke, there has been no fault codes and running absolutely perfect, over the last few days when idling it has been running uneven and stalling unless there was revs on the engine, but perfect with revs on, now it has put up code P2175.
Any clues of what I can do to sort it?
Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum.
That code seems to relate to the throttle body / dosuer which is on the left / front connected to the left of the 2 large rubber hoses that go to/from the intercoler.

It could be related to the air mass sensor which measures the air coming into the engine. It sits in the air intake pipe.
Try unplugging it and see what happens. They go duff now and again.

The throttle body has 2 or 3 sensors inside, it may be one of them that's faulty.
