Hi folks, I picked up the new van last week, loving it. Looks and drives superb, loads of toys that in some cases work better than the Audi S-Line did (BT for both music AND calls! - Châteauneuf du pape Rodney!!)
Anyhow, I have electric adjustable heated mirrors, and the mirror switch can rotate to the 6 o'clock position and feels like it clicks to that position, i.e. it's meant to go there, but the mirrors don't fold. Is it a given that if the switch can go to the bottom folding position, that it should have folding mirrors and the fuse has been pulled or they are disabled in the BSI? Or did they fit the same switch regardless of functionality?
(I am going to reinstall Lexia / DB on the notebook again and have a look at the weekend, just wanted to ask if this made sense or I'm just getting my hopes up. I think I'll have to downgrade it (notebook) back to Win7 to get Lexia to work as I see people have had mixed results with Win10.)

I decided to buy the Citroen update for my Foxwell NT530 as I'd previously put BMW on it and VAG so I could do the wife's car and mine, and it's a great tool for diagnostics as well as coding and adaptation. Hopefully it's as good on PSA as it was on the other 2. After spending some time messing about with my Lexia software last night which I haven't installed in 2 years I thought stuff this, the handheld is quicker and easier. I can still use the Lexia interface later if I need to. Going to look at the mirror coding this weekend and see what's what. I'll update soon mate.

General rule of thumb is if the mirrors are heated on that van, they are normally folding.

Cheers mate, you're giving me a warm fuzzy feeling about it!
I'm going to get into the BSI with the diagnostics when I get the chance, probably won't be before the weekend, and see what I can find. I did think maybe the previous owner could have been a courier or similar cos the van is super clean, i.e. wasn't a painters van - and so he could have been fed up with the folding when jumping in and out of the van a lot. I've heard others complain about that when their use involves a lot of stop and start. It was privately owned by one guy from new, not a company, so would make sense.

That Foxwell Nt530 you have looks like a good bit of kit keep us posted on how deep you can get into Peugeot/Citroen diagnostics.

The mirrors fold when you turn the knob into the six o'clock position and pull down on the switch - have you tried pulling down on the knob?

Hi Tree, no actually I just put it round to the click point at 6 o'clock, good point, I'll try that in the morning.

Hi TC, I will indeed mate. I'll take some screenshots if it's good or not to let you see what it can do. It is a powerful piece of kit and fits in the glovebox. On my A3 TDi I was able to do everything I could do in vagcom, only thing was you needed the rosstech coding list as the nt530 lets you read and change coding but in a lot of the blocks it doesn't know what the individual coding bits do, and saying that neither did vagcom but rosstech produced a wiki showing the coding blocks and what each bit meant to the car. Later they added a coding helper which popped up to say what the options were. Foxwell is the best handheld I've ever had and I've tried a few. That lack of coding info was an Audi thing as it wasn't publicly documented until the writer of vagcom figured it all out.
On that note, it already had all the adaptations documented fully in the nt530, it can do injector coding, reset adaptations, electronic handbrake, battery coding, module coding copying and alterations etc etc, and that stuff was all fully clear and documented on the handheld with guidance info shown too.
It can also read, adapt, and trigger regen on any DPF.....that alone is worth the money for me.

Well, tried the pulling down thing with the switch at the 6 o'clock position, no joy. Have to get the diagnostics on it next.
